I noticed this last few weeks that i am getting a muffled sound. (sometimes echoing too!) in my left ear. There is no pain as of now. What could be the reason for it?

The most probable cause for this symptom is Eustachian Tube Dysfunction probably Patulous Eustachian tube...It is the tube that connects middle ear with nasopharynx equalizes the air pressure...
