I have MTHFR in family. I am certain I had a TIA two days ago. My whole left side of my body went numb. It was that way for about 2 to 3 hours. Prior to that I had a lot of pain in my popliteal artery on my right side . After I had to suspected TIA I had extreme pain in my left finger. It went numb and now it has a bruise on it. I have been getting bad headaches now as well. Can I just take blood thinners? I have no income, and I cannot afford medical bills.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Such things aren't treatment like this. And also, you are making up something to suit your diagnosis. Go to a government hospital and get it checked out by a neurologist. The charges there are very very low. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
