I have gone through by surgery in my wisdom teeth last week. Dr remove teeth but after 2-3 days I am facing pain in lower side of jaw and in between ear. Last day he take xray and there is a viable gap between jaw bone and nerve due to that I have gone through by pain and swelling. He told me that that is a neuropathic pain. Please guide for next step which should I need to take.

Usually pain stays for long say 10-14 days or more after a wisdom tooth extraction,,so do some warm saline rinses 5-6 times daily for few days,,if still you feel pain,,consult your dentist.
