My father is suffering from minieres disease from the past 3-4 yrs, bt then his condition was not so severe. From last 1 yer his condition is worsening, he is getting severe menieres attack, not being able to move his head with continous vomiting. When this attack comes it usually last for a week or two and then he will be normal.. Again after some days it will start. Now he is taking Vertin 48 mg three times daily and Strugeron 25mg three times daily. ut the medicines are not showing any positive effects,. Please suggest , we are in great trouble
When Menier's disease is not controlled by conservative management then there are 2 options. 1. Intra tympanic gentamicin / steroid administration. 2. Sac decompression operation. Both the procedures are safe and have high success rate in experienced hands.
Consult a good ENT surgeon in your city, he will be your best guide.
