My relative has started showing slight memory loss. She forgets simple things. Like she will try to cook even though she cooked already. Then she will suddenly remember. Also she was so active earlier now she is not that active. Such specialist should we consult? I think neurologists.

Memory loss Is due to  large number of causes. To know the reason of the m memory loss more detail of patients history is required. As the history of symptoms given by u, she might be suffering from Dementia most likely Alzheimer's disease. But a battery of blood tests and MRI scanning of brain is required to rule out other possible causes of dementia
