This is the best option available right now for you. My wife is a senior and alloted a labtop for work from home, but this is not possible for her because she has to work with other team members in a harmonious way,  other as a Test lead working from home cannot be productive. Kindly ask your husband to go for consultation with a clinical psychologist regarding marriage and there is no need to get embarrassed and no space for hesitation. Take care and have a quality life.
