There are no scientific reports or evidence on weight gain though we have seen some patients who complain the same in our practice too. The results of minoxidil and finastride are definite but with regular and correct usage. It usually takes from 6 months to 1 year to see good results. Only side effects recorded suggest they are not advisable in pregnant women but I strongly advise stop if planning on having children soon.
