Low Level of MPV (Mean Platelet Volume)

I have been in hospital for checking Complete Blood Count. I surprised the result of my MPV or Mean Platelet Volume. It is only 6.9fl, it is low if i am right. My platelet count is normal and the rest is normal, only the MPV are abnormal. I dont really understand why happen like this.
