Why do doctors prescribe Lorazapem knowing that it is so addictive and hard withdrawal instead of going for other sedatives?

Nothing like that Plz don't use ur (google or by non medicos) clinical knowledge Its a calming effect Yes not needed for long time Shud b stpooed ASAP
