Looks like bone growth

Male 37, Weight 66, Diabetic -under control on oral medicine, HBa1C - 6.7, Hypertension under control on oral medication. Taking daily multivitamin for diabetic men. Vit D and B12 both normal, Cholesterol normal. He seems to have bone growth in his left feet. Big toe is tilted leftwards and he has severe pain now and then. When the pain starts, it continues for many days. So much that he can't touch and can't walk. Then it subsides, pain starts again after some months. XRay attached.

You can use toe seperater between great toe and second toe.. Which may ease the pain. . you can use bunion splint also while resting to the alter the alignment..  Check for weight bearing on foot from a physio or podriatrist and get foot wear modified .Get foot  and leg muscles released from a physio. These will ease your pain for sure..

Get blood uric acid done which can be the cause if pain. Second reason for pain can be a nerve pain. Als there can be a halux valgus deformity developing. Please consult an Ortho surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
