Hello, My younger brother is having liver Abscess approx 220ml. Docters says its in solid form n cannot b removed currently. He has prescribed medicines for a week saying these may melt the abscess or shrink it an it may pass out from the body. And no operation or aspiration will be required then. Kindly consult pls.

The USG films shows organised pus , take Tab Metron 400 thrice daily x 2 weeks and repeat an USG. If generalised symptoms like fever and weakness persists then contact your physician
