Hello...... Swelling of leg is called pedal  edema,  it's due to increased venous pressure  or loss of plasma protein...  If edema  is followed by trauma you consult orthopedic surgeon otehrwise take him to general physician in nearest hospital..... Examination  and investigation is required.
