I have been experiencing a pain in the left side of my chest on and off for a few months. Originally it was a strong pain but it has softened over time. I'm still concerned because it hasn't gone away completely.

Are you getting pain on doing some work i.e  are you getting it on exertion?. Can you describe the pain further? Can you exactly point out the site at which you are getting pain ( then mostly it might be of a gastric ulcers problem ).
