LEFT RENAL SMALL SIMPLE CORTICAL CYST.
Sir,
Recentally I consult with doctor for uneasinee in stomach. He suggested me for USG. As per USG report I have:
1.Hepatomegaly with Grade-III fatty Infiltration.
2.Left Renal Small Simple Cortical Cyst.
Is it serious cyst?? What should me treatment of cyst and Hepatomegaly Grade-3.
Pls suggest.
LFT Report normal.
Lipid profile Report normal.
CBC Report Normal.
Nothing to worry. Renal cortical cysts are usually age related changes. Since radiologist has mentioned that it is simple cyst so you doesn't need to panic or worry about much. These simple cyst converting in to renal cancer is very rare. You can do the following

Get your usg repeated at 6 months interval to monitor the cyst size and contents. If you are too worried you can go for contrast CT. it will give you exact picture
