Getting the exact name of the nerve would be helpful (musculoskeletal/ulnar/median). However the grade of affection of the nerve will decide your treatment and prognosis.  Either due to trauma or sometimes even bad postures the nerves in our body can get compressed.  The muscle the nerve supplies is no longer able to get the information from the brain and hence you may experience symptoms like tingling, numbness,  weakness etc From a physiotherapy standpoint you may require electrical stimulation to maintain the muscle properties along with a graded exercise program.
