Left chest pain and difficulty in breath

From last 10 days I'm having pain in my left chest and also feeling difficulty in breathing while sleeping/lying down . Can some one suggest me that what is causing this problem and which type of doctor I should consult.

Considering your age it’s tempting to say there may be nothing wrong. However, a detailed clinical review including exam will be helpful. Further testing could be decided then.

If it’s continuous and changes with respiration especially inspiration it may be pleuropulmonary rather than cardiac

Difficulty in breathing while lying down most commonly occurs when your lungs are filled with fluid due to poor cardiac contractility. What is the character of your chest pain? How often does it happen? Is there any relation to walking or activities with your chest pain? Is there any swelling in your foot? These questions need to be answered.
