Left bronchial fistula

Opening in the pneumonectomy stump. kept ICD for 2 weeks to drain the inside cavity . now cavity level has been came down, but the stump opening remains same. the opening size is 6mm(before ICD) as per CT scan measurement. now i need a proper treatment other than surgery. please help

Need to close fistula by some device. We need to study your CT scan, size and position of fistula, before further advice.

Hello there..... I went through your query..... Treatment will consist of a combination of pleural punctures with bronchoscopy and pumping out the contents along with intrabronchial introduction of special medicinal substances; more often treatment is effected by surgery..... Consult your Pulmonologist for further advice....
