A friend of mine is 34 weeks pregnant and has been using lactacyd vaginal wash since before the beginning of her pregnancy, now someone told her one shouldn't use it during pregnancy leaving her confused? Her using lactacyd all this time during pregnancy affect the baby or pregnancy?

Hello, lactacyd containing lactic acid which lower the vaginal pH and prevent possible vaginal infection , this is good during normal menstrual period , but during pregnancy vaginal pH increases and aciditic condition irritates amniotic sac , so only its not good option. You stop it now after pregnancy you can continue.
