Can you review my MRI results and suggest my next steps?
Right leg weakness, numbness in right foot, pain in right butt and knee. Plus severe lower back pain. I am 35 year old male. Had first MRI done 2 years back with minor disc bulges. Went through physical therapy and but did not recover fully but pain was managable. From last couple of months pain had increased and got my second MRI don which says that I have L5 nerve root compression and doctors suggested surgery. I need second opinion.
Compression at L5 region and facing clinical symptoms like numbness pain. You have it from prolonged duration. What is your functional level at present and how does it impact you functional performance?
Tk complete bed rest in relaxed spine for 3 weeks with allopathic medicine prescribed by ur doctor.. Believe on them u will be all right soon. Do breathing exercises more without spinal movement. Do not sit and bend any side u can walk more and sleep over bed. U can start hanging after 3 days complete bed rest. Before surgery u can visit our clinic.
