I got operation recently a week doctor took biospy and fluid and speicemen the result of fluid shows no bacteria found after 48 hours of aerobic incubation what it means please tissue result also the same but protein are having 4.6g/dl and sugar is 96 hmm please tell me what is my position Moreover iam diabetic
I am assuming that the results posted by you are of your synovial fluid analysis ( the fluid inside your joint cavity). With this level of protein and glucose, along with your pre existing diabetes , is suggestive of an infection in your knee joint. However, I would like to know if you have any fever , rise of temperature localised around your knee, and how intense is the pain associated with movements of your knee?
