Usually forgetfulness in young people is due to issues related to anxiety, depression or stress or sometimes substance use and rarely due to physical health problems. People experiencing anxiety or stress will have reduced attention span and concentration leading to inadequate registration of new information and hence, recall is impaired. So the actual issue is related to attention and concentration rather than memory impairment. Practice relaxation, yoga, meditation and good lifestyle choices. Schedule your activities and deal with any stresses calmly. If problem persists consult a psychiatrist. Regards
