As a eNT and maxillofacial surgeon I can tell u that ur concern is relatable, even the person with stent in heart and pacemaker also can’t go for MRI life long but we had to judge he patient severity of disease , MRI is not a single diagnostic modalities we can go for CT scan , PET scan etc. Usually maxillary implant are hard to remove because for that u had to go for surgery again , so usually we do it remove them. Rest u don’t have clearly provided very good detail about what deformity r u suffering from and what ur surgeon is planning to do, only after that guidance on implants and wiring can be done

Hi it depends at what level it is . If it is mild to moderate then we can do conservative also . And implants are various type also . So not to worry
