Itching redpatch scalp

My daughter is 1 year old and her scalp is itching since she was borned. There is redish patch on the scalp where hairs are not grown at all or are tiny in length.3 months before during our last visit to the padiatric ,he advised to wait for some time. The baby is also exposed to baby shampoo which doctor had prescribed. Please your thoughts on this problem.
