Itching on my left side of hand & waist

I am having red patches and itching from my left hand and left side of waist and over my breast too.It itches esp when i go to sleep.I have checked my bed but there is no insect.I am a diabetic however i am taking my regular medicines.Kindly suggesr what to do.
