Isolated dilation of lateral ventricle n

Iam 22 yrs old. 30 weeks pregnant, during the scanining it is said that isolated dilation of lateral ventricle is noted. in associated with agencies of corpus colosum(no evidence of agencies of corpus colosum is detected) and in down syndrome. 90 % of the issue will be normal during delivery. is there anything to worry about my child?

Mild dilatation of ventricle is often seen. If it's not increasing, in all likelihood there will be no problem. The paediatrician will do ultrasound of your baby's head after birth to evaluate it further. You will need to repeat ultrasound every 2 weeks to see if ventricle or head size is increasing abnormally
