Yes tuberculosis is a spreading diseases..Tuberculosis is spread through the air when people who have active TB in their lungs cough, spit, speak, or sneeze....most common symptom is cough and fever for months... History of contact with tb patient is important.... Its treatable condition ..if not treated can lead to death...there is DOTS program started by government of India to control tuberculosis.
