My mother is aged 83, weak, suffering from urinary problem from last several years. She has to go to urinal at least 30 times in a day. Her blood pressure at times is low. Recently she is dignosed to have dementia also. Doctor has started drugs for hyperactive bladder but it is not working. She is passing urine Everytime. At least some quantity. Since I am Pharmacist, looking at her condition I feel she might have diabetes Insipedus. Are there any tests to check this . However my mother is weak, her skin has shrinked, and at times her BP is low. Above all she is having Dementia. Can some doctor help ? We are at Aurangabad ( Maharashtra)

In diabetes insipidus ,there will be increased total output rather than frequency.i feel still this looks like hyperactive bladder only. You have to maintain frequency volume chart for atleast for 3 days. Then we will know whether it's insipidus or hyperactivity.
