Hi my mother is 64 years and has suddenly developed low vision from her left eye. She has a history of some retina pathology but now the doctors say it is macular degeneration of the retina and she may loose her eye sight. Is it possible to cure macular degeneration?

Hello Both dry or wet AMD may affect central vision. There is no permanent cure for either type

Sorry  the cure of macular degeneration is not possible. You can delay the progress by use of antioxidants and vitamin RICH diet or SUPPLEMENTS. Treatment of associated disease is important.
