IUI involves processing of the sperms of husband (or donor, as needed) and pushing it inside the uterus by a small catheter. It causes little discomfort. Side efects are very few like pain, discomfort, infection and side effects of drugs used but these are rare. No treatment for infertility gives 100% guarantee. Tbe success rate is 20-30% per cycle, depending on various factors.
