Intra Cerebral hemorrhage

Respected Sir/ Madam my mumma is suffering from hyperdense area of size 5.5 cm × 2.6 cm is seen in the lentiform of nuclei of left basal ganglia suggestive of Intra Cerebral hemorrage.She is recovering good from past 6 days but she's not able to speak and sit on her own.We are having her treatment in Ajanta Hospital under Jaideep chandra.Can you suggest how long will she take to recover fully and whom should i visit for better treatment of mummy.She's aging 55 now.Kindly suggest me smthng soon.

Brain hemorrhage or bleeding in the brain can be due to many reasons. At this age it could be due to high blood pressures or rupture of some abnormally developed blood vessel. If the bleeding is small in size, it can be managed with Medicines only. The blood clot you have mentioned is quite big 5.2cm. It may require a surgery to reduce the pressure. She should be treated in an ICU under a Neurosurgeon's monitoring.
