Intake of wrong medicine
By mistake I have been taking cutel h 80 instead of cutel h 40.. I have been prescribed cutel h 40,but the pharmacy gave me wrong medicine, I didn't know and i was taking it. Will there me any issue with my health?
The difference between the CUTEL H 40 and CUTEL H 80 is Telmisartan 40mg and Telmisartan 80mg.
So if you are taking the tablets for a longer period the blood pressure may be modulated to the lower side than as adjusted with the dose of CUTEL H 40mg.
Blood pressure threshold to respond to medications can vary if taken for a long period of time, provided there's no risk of serious health issues.
Next Steps
1. Please Change the medicine to CUTEL H 40.
2. Please check the blood pressure - if its on the lower side more than 100/70 mmhg, visit an emergency medicine department for further management
3.. Tiredness can be attributed to the low levels of potassium in the body

2. Watch for Low blood pressure ( hypotension) which cause tiredness, weakness, sweating, giddiness, cold hands and legs, increased thirst, blurring of vision
3.. If there's tiredness , that can be related to low potassium levels , so eat more potassium rich food like banana, apricot, kiwi, coconut water, almonds, spinach, beans,lentils,yogurt
