Hi, my friends had this skin irritation. Its kind of boil but suppressed now. But the pain hasn't gone. It's been almost a week and it's still red. Should we see a doc?

Greetings - it could have been a furuncle or abscess and sometimes these take long to resolve completely - that too without any treatment. However, its tough for me to comment since I have not seen the lesion / there's no photo provided. Its better if you see a qualified dermatologist near you. hope this helps. warm regards
