Influenza - red eye

2019-02-27 04:50:47
Was diagnosed with influenza. Symptoms started last Thursday. The doctor says it will take about 10 days or even 2 weeks for full recovery. My fever is gone except for slight sore throat and sore eyes. My eyes quite quite badly affected as it's puffy, red and has mucus around it. Is this normal? Today is the 7th day. The redness and mucus has reduced but i still feel a little swelling and puffiness. I'm putting eye drops 6 hourly. Is there anything else I can do to speed up recovery? Thanks!
