Infection spread in ear

I had infection in Throat for which I had showed doctor and took the medicines for a week.. The doc had said that the infection has spread to ear as well.. Now few days after I stopped taking the meds my ear is paining again.. Should I start taking the same anti biotic medicines again or consult another doctor?

May be the infection in the ear had not gone completely. Consult the same doctor and explain.
