It needs to be seen by doctor whether it's simple dandruff or fungal infection. Both conditions treatment are different. Don't do daily shampoo as it can dry the scalp and hair and can aggravate the dandruff. Don't use head cap always allow some ventilation of head to dry the sweat of scalp. Change of shampoo can be advised by your pediatrician.
