Hi doctor, my son is taking formula milk, but whenever he drink he is getting out milk from nose and mouth. Please suggest.

Hi, I can understand your worries... Recheck proper dilution of formula powder... After feeding do burping for 15 mins.... Monitor weight, if baby is gaining weight then nothing to worry...

Burp the baby after every feed for 15-20 min. Feed only on demand if more than 1-2 months of age. Don’t feed for every crying.

If every time milk is coming out through nose during feeding child needs clinical examination to rule out any obvious cleft palate/submucous cleft palate
