To determine whether your milk supply is sufficient or not, there are a few pointers to note. First, count the number of times your baby passes urine in a day. Adequately fed babies pass urine 6 times or more in a 24 hour period. Next, a well fed baby sleeps soundly after a feed. Also you can monitor your baby's weight when you visit your doctor who will guide you if baby's weight gain is adequate and thus indicate if feeding is adequate.
