Usually clean incised wounds heal in 3 weeks and doesn't usually cause issue if it doesn't get reinfected...how and when you can play cricket is dependent upon how big a incision it was... Usually you should be able to resume the practice and play 4 weeks post op and once your physio has given you a clearance after thoroughly evaluating the healing and scar formation...
Next Steps
1.please get evaluated by your team physio and team physician before you start any sporting activity
2. even after resuming sports , please use additional padding while playing to avoid the direct pressure or trauma on the toe which has a newly formed tissue.
3. if you are a bowler , then you may even consider wearing insoles in your shoes or spikes, to counter the impact that comes of landing stride when you deliver the ball...
4. if you are a batsman, and injury is on your front then marginally opening up your stance will keep the injured toes away from line of Yorkers...
