--5 means you have less than 6/60 unaided vision. to compare ,you can see a specific object from a distance less than 6 meters and a normal person can see that specific object from a distance of 60 meters.means you have less than 1/10 vision  than a normal person.but if you have 6/6vision with glasses  then you are a normal person. myopia is not a disease.
