Summer is a time for kids to have fun and enjoy not having school.it is a the challenging time too .
Children do better with structure. Try Daily Activities plan - family Games , Draw - colour,, story telling , Get Creative Through Games, Play Board Games , solving puzzles . outdoor activities are a must . Short trips .
Its important to set up rules with expectations or limits so your children know what’s expected of them while at home. This will help make it relaxing and fun for everyone
Regarding Screen time -
Recreational Activities are a great way to divert their attention from digital media. Instead of trying to cut out screen time all at once, try reducing it .
Set boundaries everyone can follow encouraging them to participate in tech free projects that are both fun and creative, such as reading a book, or playing a simple board game at home .
State clearly, calmly, and with authority when they beat each other that they cannot beat one another.
