I had an abscess in 2014, which stayed open. After giving birth to my son I had a tear and this has connected with the abscess creating a fistula. Doctors in U.K. Have said it connects from my vagina to my anal canal. I bleed during my mensus from the hole where the abscess was. It has taken years and no solution or clear diagnosis given. I have been cleared of chrohns disease. It gives me a lot of pain especially when the infection worsens. what should do? I fear having surgery.
