Any medication will only provide temporary symptomatic relief for any dental infection. Unless the objective treatment is done by the dentist according to the diagnosis permanent relief cannot be expected and the symptoms are bound to reappear. The duration of action of any anti inflammatory medication will also be variable and hence the most prudent step will be to visit a dentist as soon as possible.
