Please don’t use sodium hypochloride to wash your veggies. There are few products in the market which are meant to clean veggies.
Health Tips
You can always use luke warm water with salt to wash .

Cleaning perishables directly with kmno4 is okay, but only if it is diluted sufficiently and then post washing with that solution, rinsing it thoroughly with enough water at least two times is necessary.
