The best way would be to look into what you are eating.
Foods with a high glycemic index are not good for diabetics.
Rice, coconut etc are foods with a high glycemic index to name a few.
So you need to have foods with low glycemic index.
You need to have a high fiber diet and high protein diet.
Consult a dietician for detailed diet chart.
