I'm advised to visit an Endocrinologist regarding period issues. Does it consist a long process of treatment?

Hi there... you haven't mentioned about what exactly is the reason for endocrinologist visit as just irregular periods problem is treated by gynaecologist only.. either hypothyroidism or pcod are the endocrine disorders causing irregular periods.. these are treatable and nothing to worry as your periods will regularize once treatment started...
