I have been having severe hormonal acne before and during my periods and the scars last for months. Once the old scars clear up, the new ones form. Also I have occasional dandruff, could that be a cause of acne too? The acne that I get are usually red and painful but I am not sure whether they are cystic acne. I have consulted many dermatologist but haven’t been able to find the root cause and cure it. Help!
