I got stung by a bee and it was very swollen. The doctor said it was infected and gave me medication for that. After the two weeks of taking it, I woke up with hives. Went to a different doctor who said i had an ellergic reaction to the bee and the previous doctor was wrong and gave me medication for an allergic reaction. I was wondering what the hives were caused by. Was it that I had taken the wrong medication?

Hives ie Urticaria can be caused by Bee sting as well as some medicines. Oral anti allergic drugs required to treat it
