Higher SGOT and SGPT
I was diagnosed Hepatitis A on april 24, 2018. After that I started medicines and eventually by June 10, 2018 Liver function came to normal level except SGOT and SGPT levels higher than normal by 10-15 units.
2 months after, ie, on August 9, I checked liver function and SGPT: 143 and SGOT 577.

Usually hepatitis A is acute illness and everything subsides by itself in a few weeks.
Persistence of high liver enzymes till now suggests some chronic inflammation going on in liver.
The pattern in which ur enzymes are increases suggests alcohol mediated liver injury.
