It's been 2 months since i had Covid but my pulse rate is continuously elevated between 80 to 100 while seated and during a brisk walk reaches 135 to 140. Have got my chest CT done it was all clear. Met a cardiologist he prescribed (ivabradine 5mg twice a day) for 15 days. As soon as i stopped taking meds again pulse rate went back to 80 to 100. I have always been a fit person and always been into physical activities. Please advise what could be the issue? At times i do feel a bit of tightness in chest and rare dry coughs sometimes.

High pulse rate on exertion is common post covid Anhow if it's not resolving please get your echo,thyroid profile done. Review with reports
