Since few day feeling very weakness , high heartbeats. Done blood test found hemoglobin less 6.8% And high CRP 8.6 mg/l

How come iron tablets and iron infusion be treatment without knowing the cause b12 deficiency or sepsis ....without knowing mcv what is the use of giving iron ....
